Standard (004)The Anglaise clocks are based on the Grande and standard timepiece. The Grande bell strike can also be supplied with a repeat function. All the strike models sound on the hour and half hour.
The style of this clock was originally produced circa 1880 by the French to appeal to the English taste. Significant changes to the design which were made subsequently are, the handle being made heavier and the case having a sharper visual line.
The quality of the mechanical movement with its 11 Jewelled gilded escapement ensures time keeping to within +/- 2 minutes per week.
